Change of plans

So I lied in my blog. Okay well, things just changed. We did not go to Milford Sound. Toph & I concluded it was too long a drive & would be too expensive for the short time we would be there. Instead us & Gray (Toph’s friend) went to Wanaka. On the way we stopped at an animal park full of llamas, horses, donkeys & deer. You could buy food & feed them, but instead we just went there to check out the Lord of the Ring sites. Then we hit the road only to stop at another Lord of the Rings site that also happened to be the AJ Hacket Bungy location. We had lunch there & watched some jumpers then on to Wanaka.
Once in Wanaka we went to Puzzling World – there’s a life-size maze & illusion rooms. Also in Wanaka we went to Cinema Peridiso – a small theater that makes amazing food. We watched ‘In the Sticks’ a French comedy that was great, and I ate the best chocolate chip cookie. Headed back to Queenstown after that. We stopped along the way to look at all the stars. There were bazillions & we could very clearly see the Milky Way.

Today we met with Toph’s other friends, Allison, Kate & Carolyn, to plan the rest of the road trip. Off to the Glaciers today in 2 cars now.
