On the road

We drove from Marahau to Barrytown today - down the west coast of the South Island. Made a few stops on the way to see some awesome sites. We walked the Cape Foulwind Walkway, which was gorgeous.

Then to the Punakiaki Pancakes Rocks. These were really cool. We were told they formed by the decomposition of animals in the rock. They are supposed to look like stacked pancakes.
We head to Franz Josef Glacier tomorrow!
